Students who fail to maintain satisfactory progress may not receive the following types of financial aid: Federal Direct Loans, 联邦PLUS贷款, 涉及第四章资金的其他援助, 或要求取得令人满意的进展的任何其他援助. 这些政策只适用于有资格获得经济援助的人. A student is considered to have made satisfactory academic progress provided he/she passes at least 67% of the cumulative credit hours attempted and has not reached 150% of time enrolled in an academic program (see Maximum Time Frame section).

Students must also earn a certain cumulative Grade Point Average (平均绩点) determined by their Academic program to maintain financial aid SAP. Students enrolled in a 研究生 program at LMU, must maintain a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative 平均绩点 (with the exception of the Doctor of Jurisprudence, where a minimum 2.累积绩点必须保持在0). A student whose academic performance drops below the minimum standards will be placed on financial aid warning. A student can retain financial aid while on warning for one semester but must meet 令人满意的学业进展 by the end of that semester or be placed on 金融援助 Suspension.

Course repetitions may have a negative effect on pace (course failures) but will not extend the maximum time frame established for professional students in the following programs: Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Attempted and completed Osteopathic Medicine credits at LMU will not be counted in the quantitative and qualitative SAP calculation for students pursuing a Master's Degree in Biomedical Science. 

No student will be eligible to receive financial aid for more than 150% of the published length of the program. 这个时间是用尝试的学分来衡量的. 例如, a student seeking a MBA degree totaling 36 credit hours cannot receive aid for more than 54 attempted hours (36 x 150% = 54). Please refer to specific graduate catalogs to see the published length of the program.
